Two More Cops Shot: Two deputies were shot inside of an Eatonville home last night after police were called to deal with a fight in the home. Police say David E. Crable went upstairs, grabbed a gun, and opened fire on the deputies, seriously injuring them. Crable was killed during the incident.

Duh: FBI Stats show crime is up in Seattle.

Order in the Court: Truant students now headed for workshops instead of courtrooms.

Market Forces: Council member Tim Burgess wants to expand the city’s Drug Market Initiative program in 2010. Burgess hasn’t said where he’d like to see the program, but my money’s on Belltown or Rainier Beach.
