Seattle University sent a security bulletin out to students this morning, warning them about a mugging near campus:
Early this morning, January 8th, at approximately 2:30 am, SU Department of Public Safety and Seattle Police officer’s responded to a student who reported he was mugged approximately three blocks south of campus, in the area of 11th and E. Alder. The student reported he was walking towards campus when two males approached and one asked what time was it, where upon, he was struck on the cheek and knocked down. The student reported the males took his wallet and cell phone and then ran off in an unknown direction. The student described the two male suspects as having very dark skin, in their late teens or early twenties. One suspect was described wearing a white sweatshirt that had green diamond shaped patterns. SPD officer’s area searched and did not locate anyone matching the descriptions.
