CHS: Man With Head Wound Causes Scare At Seattle U Library

According to our pals at CapitolHillSeattle.com, a man with a head wound caused a bit of chaos in the East Precinct last night.

From their report:

An assault with weapons callout to E Columbia’s interim Seattle University library turned out to be a man claiming he had been hit in the head with a machete, a SU student who witnessed the situation told CHS. The student said the man did not appear to be bleeding. Emergency crews and police units had already left the scene only 20 minutes after the original 911 call. More when we can confirm details with SFD and SPD.

[T]he man was indeed struck in the head and suffered a three-inch gash tonight at a Jack In the Box on 4th Ave S. He was treated by an ambulance crew for his injuries but refused admittance to the hospital. No word on why he decided to enter the SU library and inform the desk of his injury.
