Robber Stabbed Downtown

We’ve got details on yet another robbery gone wrong in Downtown Seattle.

Last Wednesday, a man called police and reported that he was walking home from the Save-Way store on 1st and Occidental when another man stopped him. The man grabbed him by the shirt, and called him by a name which, according to the report, “is not the victim’s first name or nickname.”

When the suspect began reaching into the man’s pockets, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the suspect in the shoulder. The suspect ran off and the man went home and called police.

Police searched the area, but were unable to find the robber/stabee.
