Police are investigating yet another violent gang assault after a group of gang members attacked a homeless man in the International District last week.
A police report indicates medics and officers received a report of a man down in the 500 block of S Jackson St shortly before 2:00 am on February 27th.
The man was bleeding from a cut above his eye and told police he believed he had injured his collarbone.
According to the report, the man told officers a “group of Asian males, described as gang members dressed in red, approached [him] and started punching him until he fell to the ground.” While the man was on the ground, the gang members continued to kick him, the report says.
The report says police searched the “China Town” area (ed note: see!) but were unable to locate any of the suspects.
Medics transported the victim to Harborview.
