A Seattle police report for a shooting in Georgetown last week says when police arrived at the scene of a shooting at Carleton Ave and E Marginal Way S, they were unable to find the man who had supposedly been shot.
Around 3:15am, police began receiving reports that a man had been shot.
At the scene, a witness told police 100 people had been brawling in the parking lot when someone opened fire, striking one man. The witness told officers the gunman then fled in a silver truck, along with another man who’d been beaten during the melee.
The victim was taken from the scene in the white sedan.
Following the incident, officers notified area hospitals to be on the lookout for a gunshot victim. However, at the time of the report, police still hadn’t located a victim.
