Seattle police say that twice in the last two weeks, a gunman has targeted the same South Seattle home in two separate drive-by shootings.
At about 9:30pm on June 10th, police received a call from a man who said someone had fired several shots at his home in the 4600 block of S Frontenac St.
Officers arrived at the home and immediately found three .22 cal shell casings in the street in front of the house. Police also found four “distinct lead marks” on the house. No one was injured in the shooting.
Police spoke with the victim, who told officers there is an ongoing feud between one of the victim’s family members and another man, who is currently in prison.
Several of the victim’s family members told police they believe the shooting may have been committed by another man, who drives a silver SUV.
The report doesn’t indicate what the SUV-driving suspect’s relationship might be to the victim, or the man in prison.
This isn’t the first time police have been called to the home for reports of gunfire.
According to a police report, police were called to the home on May 30th for another report of a drive-by. Police also investigated another drive-by on the same street in April 2009, but it’s unclear whether that incident was related.
