Man Beaten In “Random Assault” In Wallingford

A man was walking home from a party near 46th and Woodland Ave N around 4:00am on August 21st when he was jumped and beaten by two suspects, a police report says.

The suspects punched the victim several times, knocking him to the ground, and kicked him in the face, stomach, and back.

The man sustained bruises on his face, arms, back, stomach, chin, and knee, and may have chipped a tooth in the assault.

The man wasn’t able to give police any information about his assailants, but told officers he “felt this incident was a random assault.”
