A man was knocked unconscious near a North Seattle park earlier this month after he tried to intervene in a late-night argument.
The victim told police that just before midnight on September 16th, he was walking by Victory Creek Park when he saw another man and a woman in an “intense” argument, according to a police report.
The victim asked the woman if she was alright, and the male suspect turned and told the victim to “walk away.”
The suspect then got into the victim’s face and started to yell at him and apparently knocked the victim unconscious.
The victim told officers he believes he was hit with a glass bottle of liquor, and said he woke up on the sidewalk as the suspect fled.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
