Several residents of a University District frat house told police that a group of men climbed in through a second story window in the late evening hours of September 29th, stole a laptop, and threatened a resident with a gun, according to a police report.
According to the report, between three and five suspects climbed through a second story window of the house on NE 45th and 19th NE around 11:40pm.
The suspects took a laptop and fled the house.
Several residents chased the group of men until one of the suspects claimed he had a gun.
The victims told police the suspects may have been “associated’ with a white late-model Mazda 3.
Shortly after the robbery, UWPD also stopped two suspects in connection with another street robbery nearby.
The report indicates the suspects in the street robbery may have matched the description of some of the men who broke into the frat house, but the fraternity residents weren’t able to positively ID the suspects.
UWPD arrested one of the suspects for street robbery and an unrelated warrant.
