Man Possibly Armed With Molotovs Asks Suspicious Questions At Light Rail Station

Seattle police combed Capitol Hill yesterday afternoon after a man who may have been armed with Molotov cocktails started asking strange questions at a Light Rail construction site.

Around 3:00pm yesterday afternoon, a man approached workers at the light rail station under construction at 10th and John and started asking about security at the station, according to Seattle Police Department spokeswoman Renee Witt.

Construction workers were apparently suspicious of the man, which was only compounded by the fact that he was carrying bottles filled with liquid, which were stuffed with rags.

Officers never located the man, who was described as a white male in his 40s with a thin build, wearing a blue or green jacket and blue jeans.

We’ll check in with police and see if we can find out any more about this incident.
