UW Student Victim of Seattle’s Hot New Crime Trend

Another spray em in the face and rob em — this time, the U District.

Notification of a Criminal Incident – Strong Arm Robbery – Seattle Campus 

On Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at 7:25 p.m., a UW student crossing N.E. 45th Street at 12th Ave., N.E. was tapped on the shoulder by one of three unknown suspects. When the victim turned around, she was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance.  The victim’s purse, containing her cell phone and credit cards, was taken.  The three suspects left the area in a yellow sedan, make unknown. The first suspect is described as a black male with short hair, 5’10”, 18-21 years of age.  The second suspect is also a black male, 6’0”, 200 lb., with a shaved head. A third suspect is a male of unknown race with no other description information available.
