That wonderful headline comes courtesy of this PI.com story on a Christmas day stabbing in the Roosevelt neighborhood:
A Seattle woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend on Christmas has been charged with second-degree assault.
King County prosecutors claim that at 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 25, Valerie A. Drayton stabbed her boyfriend of six years at their Roosevelt neighborhood apartment.
According to charging documents, the injured man told police he believes Drayton will eventually kill him but worried he would masturbate himself blind if she left him. Drayton, 52, was previously charged with attempting to light the same man on fire.
Writing the court, Seattle Detective Michelle Barker noted that the man had been unwilling to assist in prosecution after being doused with lighter fluid, and appeared reluctant to do so even after Drayton stabbed him in the arm.
“(He) told officers that he is scared of Valerie and believes she will kill him one day, but loves her because she has money to take care of him,” the detective told the court.
