Here’s more on that stabbing at Rainier and Fontanelle we posted about last night:
On January 20th, at approximately 12:53 AM, South Precinct officers responded to a 911 call of a fight disturbance and possible stabbing in the parking lot of a gas station in the 7200 Block of Rainier Avenue South. Officers arrived and located the 38 year old female severely bleeding from a stab wound on her upper leg. The Seattle Fire Department was also called to the scene to treat the victim and transport her to the hospital. Gang detectives on duty in the area located a possible female suspect near Rainier and South Fontanelle. This suspect was later positively identified as the correct suspect by witnesses. The 21 year old female was arrested. During the investigation, it was determined that the two females, possibly a third, had been in a fight and that a knife and broken vodka bottle had been used. The knife was later recovered by officers from on top of the roof of the business, and the bottle was located in the parking lot. At the hospital, medical personnel discovered a second stab wound in the victim’s chest. Neither of the injuries were considered life-threatening. Detectives continue to investigate this case. The 21 year old suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.
