Earlier this week, a man reported he was Tased and robbed outside a nightclub in downtown Seattle, according to a police report.
Officers were called to a cargo ship moored at Pier 86 at the waterfront at about 4:45 am on March 6th, where they met the victim.
The man told police he’d caught a cab around 10:00pm the night before, and gone to a club downtown. The man was turned away from the first club because it was full, but went to another club where he hung out until closing time.
After leaving the club, the man was trying to catch a cab back to his ship when “he felt a jolt on his lower back, his body vibrating and then he fell onto the ground,” a police report says.
The man told police he believes he was Tased.
The man apparently lost consciousness, and when he “came to,” his wallet was missing.
The man wasn’t able to provide police with information about where the incident occurred.
He sustained a “very large contusion” on his forehead, according to the police report, and was taken to Harborview for treatment.
