A Brief Reminder About iPhones and Bus Robberies

Even though iPhones aren’t nearly as hep as they used to be (face it: your mom has one, they’re no longer cool) they’re still valuable enough for opportunistic thieves to snatch out of your mitts while you’re out in public.

One woman had her iPhone snatched when while riding the #60 bus last week. Around 6:45 p.m. on April 6th, the woman’s bus stopped at Terry Ave & Broadway. The suspect—described only as a male wearing headphones and a backpack—grabbed the woman’s phone and hopped off the bus.

The woman followed the man down to Yesler Way, but he took off running and got away.

Be wary on the bus, folks. (Especially if you ride the #7!)
