The Morning Blotter: Man Shot With Pellet Gun In North Seattle

An “extremely intoxicated” man—who told police he’d consumed approximately “54 drinks”—was left with BB pellets embedded in his skin after he was shot by someone at his North Seattle apartment building last week, according to a police report.

When police initially arrived at the man’s home at about 9:30 p.m. on April 7th, he told officers he’d be shot with a .22 caliber or pellet gun.

The man showed police several scratches under his armpit, where officers found small black pellets embedded in his skin.

The man told police he’d been standing on his balcon yelling at a group of people when he was shot.

However, the report for the incident notes the man gave officers several different versions of his story, and police weren’t able to find any evidence to corroborate his version of events.

Medics took the man to Northwest Hospital for treatment.
