A man targeted in two shootings in Crown Hill last week ended up in handcuffs after he reported the second incident to police.
At around 9:50 p.m. last Wednesday, May 18th, police were called to a home on 83th and 17th after someone fired eight shots into the man’s front window and drove off.
At the scene, police talked to the man targeted in the shooting, who told officers two “friends” were trying to kill him.
Two days earlier, the suspects apparently opened fire on the man. The following day, they unsuccessfully tried to break into his home.
Finally, on Wednesday, the man was sitting in his home watching the Green Hornet, when he heard a bang, and saw the glass on a table next to him shatter, according to a police report.
The man ducked down, and then heard eight more shots.
No one was injured in either shooting
The man told police the suspects may have been gunning for him because he has several pieces of jewelry they want.
The police report says when officers finished interviewing the victim about the latest shooting, he was taken into custody by a member of the Snohomish County Auto Theft Taskforce for an unrelated incident
