Three people were wounded and one woman was killed in a shooting in South Seattle shortly after 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
According to department sources, a man opened fire on a car at Renton Ave S and 54th Ave S, killing a pregnant woman in the vehicle.
Three other people in the vehicle were injured in the shooting. A 21-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and arm, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg and arm, and a 15-year-old girl was shot in the leg.
Police were looking for a dark blue Dodge Magnum following the shooting.

Update: Police have identified a suspect in the shooting, and are looking for him in the area. He is considered armed and dangerous. Gang detectives have been notified about the shooting.
Update x2: Police have a possible suspect in custody in South Seattle. The 20-year-old man does not appear to have any major criminal history in Washington.

On July 13th at approximately officers responded to a call of shots fired with four people down in the 9600 block of 54th Avenue South. Preliminary investigation indicates that two female victims (victims #1 and #2) were sitting in a car parked at the curb. A male victim (victim #3) was sitting in a separate car also parked at the curb. Another male victim (victim #4) was believed to be sitting on the hood of yet another parked car on the opposite side of the street.
The suspect approached the area on foot and shot all four victims. He then fled the scene on foot and remains at large. The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1″ tall, stocky build and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
Victim #1, a 19-year-old female, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene by SFD medics. Victim #2, a 16-year-old female, was shot in the left arm and right upper leg. Victim #3, a 21-year-old male, was shot in the abdomen and in a finger. Victim #4, a 17-year-old male, was shot in lower right leg.
SFD medics transported victims #2, #3, and #4 to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Homicide and CSI detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.

Update x4: Looks like the person police were searching for last night wasn’t booked. Police say they do not have a suspect in custody for the shooting.
