Port-a-Potties Arrive At City Hall, Protesters to Follow?

City sources say several portable toilets have been set up outside city hall.

For the last week, Mayor Mike McGinn has been working to convince Occupy Seattle protesters to stop camping at Westlake Park and relocate to the plaza on the west side of City Hall.

We have a call in to the Mayor’s office to find out if the toilets are indeed for the protesters, and how much they’re costing the city.

As reported in Fizz this morning, Mayor McGinn said the Parks Department and the SPD will enforce the rules at Westlake Park, including prohibitions against camping and unpermitted activity.
