A Thurston County Superior Court Judge has upheld Seattle Central Community College emergency eviction of Occupy Seattle from the school’s campus.
The Seattle Community College board unanimously voted last month to ban camping on campus in an attempt to boot Occupy Seattle. Occupy filed a temporary restraining order in Thurston County, but today Judge Christine Pomeroy denied the restraining order, again opening Occupy up to eviction.
We’ve got a call in to SCCC to find out how long Occupy Seattle will have to get off campus.
Update: a statement from SCCC says the school plans to post the rule banning camping at the college next week “to let [Occupy Seattle] know they need to move.” The school doesn’t give a hard deadline for eviction in the statement.
