Today in Fuzz: Courthouse protest fizzles, pack of robbers arrested in south Seattle
1) Occupy Seattle’s “Occupy the Courts” protest fizzled today on account of the weather. About two dozen protesters showed up at the federal courthouse in downtown Seattle, which wasn’t open, this afternoon, a police source says.
2) Police arrested a group of men who were allegedly out robbing people in the snow in south Seattle Wednesday.
Officers stopped a group of five teens and one adult near 42nd Ave. S. and S. Myrtle St. following a robbery Wednesday night. Officers found the group members were carrying a few items taken in the robbery, and soon realized that the men all matched the description of the suspects in two other robberies earlier that day.
When officers interviewed the suspects back at the precinct, one of them confessed to the robberies and officers booked them all into jail.
